Erik Nelson
Erik, co-founder of Innovo Advisors, has more than 20 years of experience leading strategic initiatives, large-scale implementations, and complex business assessments in the healthcare industry. In addition to providing day-to-day leadership for the firm, Erik specializes in leading complex business assessments, supporting business development activities and providing project oversight for client initiatives.
Prior to co-founding Innovo Advisors, he co-founded Validus Consulting, a healthcare management consulting firm based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Validus focused on deploying technology to improve operations, implement electronic medical records solutions and maximize operational performance. Erik and his business partners helped negotiate the acquisition of Validus by Vitalize Consulting Solutions (an SAIC Company) seeing the organization through a smooth and successful transition and integration.
